We encounter music in our everyday lives. Whether it’s in the coffee shop, the elevator, or just walking down the street. Even though it’s such a small part of our day we usually always notice that one really old song playing in the background that brings you a little bit of that nostalgia feeling. All that music around us affects our emotions and the way we feel at that moment.

Now a lot of people use music for all different types of reasons. Maybe it’s to get you and your friends hyped for the night or even to help you relax after a long and stressful day. However, sometimes the love for music in general can cause a love for a specific artist as well. We call them our “comfort artist”. We all have different comfort artists for multiple reasons. Whether it’s the lyrics, melody, rhythm, how relatable they are, or the most common reason- the nostalgic feeling people get when listening to them. At the end of the day, we all love our favorite artists because of the way the music makes us feel.
